{Make for Mom} Guest Post

As I mentioned, I have a couple of guest posts coming up that I've been happily working on behind the scenes.  Sorry I haven't been posting as much, but May is a crazy month for us.  I have been sewing a lot and have plenty of things to show you so bear with me, hehe.

Anyway, the first guest post is up today at Shaffer Sisters.  I found these ladies through Project Run & Play and love their dynamic.  Each of the sisters has their own voice and its fun to have them in my reader because I'm never sure which one will be posting that day.  They post about many things in their lives - not just sewing.  The recipes are some of my favorite non-crafty posts.

Their newest series is called Make for Mom and I am excited to be a part of it.  I took an old non-wearable dress and made it functional for summer.

Check it out.  (there's even a cringe-worthy before shot that'll make it worth the jump, hehe)

  1. I love your blog header, Ajaire!!! (The phone and cord is so creative.) Just in case you didn't see my blog comment on the Shaffer Sisters site, your dress is lovely. I love the stripes!

    1. Shannon, thank you for coming by to post here too :)

It took me forever to make that logo haha. I couldn't get the cord just right and you know how it is when you have a vision in your head and you just need to find that perfect font. But I'm so happy with how it came out. Thank you for noticing it.

  2. Thank you for sharing Ajaire, it was lovely having you visit. We would love for you to stop by any time.
We totally had never thought about how our sporadic schedule might effect our readers, until we read this. It really is that we try to figure out between the three of us who might need a break or have too much going on to post. We are aware and respectful of the fact that if there wasn't three of us the blog would not be able to keep it going. Kuddos to you that keep all the balls up in the air all by yourself.

  3. Turned out great! It looks really comfortable. I have done a couple pretty aggressive post baby purges, I probably could have saved more!
