It's almost the 4th of July and time to celebrate America!  Wild & Wanderful organized a bunch of us to form the Sew Americana Blog Tour and it is SO GOOD.  American or not, you'll be wanting to sew up a bunch of red, white, and blue by the end of the week with all the amazing inspiration!

Crossover Flounce Hack for One Thimble

Today I'm over at One Thimble again with a hack of the Crossover Flounce Dress.  I've always intended to make a skirt option for the dress, so I added a waistband to attach to those double flounces so they can stand on their own!

One Thimble Issue 11 - Guest Post

I'm over on One Thimble's blog today sharing one of my favorite new closures.  My girl is always getting her hair caught in those back buttons so many gorgeous dress patterns include, and though I love a good button, sometimes it's not worth the aggravation later.  There are some affiliate links in this post, but all opinions are mine and I really love One Thimble and can't recommend it enough!
