Sew-a-bration of Womanhood Day 7

Today the lovely Shawnta from Shawnta Sews is sharing what she made for the Sew-a-bration of Womanhood.  We gave all of the contributors a general questionnaire and here are a few of Shawnta's responses:

Age: 32
What was the biggest challenge with this project: The hardest part of this project was coming to terms with my new shape.  I recently lost 12lbs, but still went about making the skirt with my old measurements.  I kept adding inches to assure that it would fit, not trusting my new body.  I guess when I look in the mirror I don't appear that drastically different.  In the end I had to take the seams in a lot to get the skirt to fit.

It looks like a perfect fit Shawnta!  Congratulations on the recent weight loss; I can't wait to read about what pattern you used for that skirt.
