The reference to "silver girl" was reportedly a tribute to Simon's wife who was noticing her first gray hairs. As a woman in the age group where we are starting to notice those not-so-subtle age related changes, I love that this age also comes with a sense of self empowerment and realization that this is also the time where we are comfortable and accepting enough of ourselves to put it all out there and follow our dreams.
