Today I'm sharing the Tinley Tee and Love Me Knot Short from GYCT Designs. I am happy to be a part of a fun tour like this one:
The Love Me Knot Short pattern runs from size 6M to 12 Years and has a cute keyhole cutout connected with a bias tape bow or knot. There are pocket details as an option as well.
I decided to make the shorts in capri length by extending the legs. The fit is great and Bean will now get a ton of wear with these for the next couple of Maryland warm fall months. I used a double gauze so they breathe nicely too.
The top is my true favorite though. You know when you get a great staple pattern and are just so happy with the fit? The Tinley Tee is SO GOOD. I made a white one that I shared on Instagram recently and knew that there would be many more in the immediate future. This purple-pink one is just the second in a long line of layering tees for Bean's fall/winter wardrobe.
Bean is in love with the Tinley's I've made already. She says that they are so warm and cozy and it's nearly impossible to get her out of those long sleeves even in the heat we have currently. The capris are super cozy looking and she's been running around the backyard in them so I know that's a win right there.
The patterns both sew up super quick and the only real adjustment I made to the Tinley was to sew the neck binding and shoulders into a circle before attaching, but that is completely a personal preference. There's no change in the sizing with that mod so the fit would turn out the same.
If you'd like to purchase the patterns there is a discount during the tour of 15% if you use the code SAVE15. There is also a discount if you buy them together as a bundle here. Chelsea is running a giveaway as well so enter the rafflecopter below for a chance to win!

ReplyDeleteThanks for having me Chelsea! The pants look super comfy and I'm so happy I made them a little longer for fall :)
ReplyDeleteIt's my new favorite tee Magda! I have been so busy, but I need to get over and see your tour post!
ReplyDeleteI'm clearly finally responding to comments today haha. Anyway, the tinley is so good. I've been raving about it everywhere. It's just a great sturdy every day pattern that I can see being the basis for a ton of remixes.
