I'm excited to share the details with you from a new pattern for women from Savvy Patterns!  The Runway Skirt is the first pattern in what I'm certain will be a successful endeavor for the ladies of Skirt Fixation.

Dia De Los Muertos - Perler Bead Template

With Halloween upon us and all of the excitement of costumes and parties, I'm excited to take a moment to be a part of the third annual Dia De Los Muertos tour!  Tuesday, the 1st of November is the Day of the Dead and a day where we honor those who have passed.  I took the Kitty Sugar Skull stencil I made two years ago (read all about that here), the embroidery version I made last year (read about it here), and reworked it once again to a project that would pique my girl's current interests.

Living Skirt Art

One of my favorite ongoing series is Skirt Fixation's Living Skirt Art, where she sews a skirt based on a skirt in a piece of artwork and then tries to recreate the scene.  When she announced she was having guests to the series I jumped on board immediately.  I love the idea and couldn't wait to find the perfect inspiration piece.
